Android developer

Enough room for self improvement, a tight-knit team full of specialists, access to a big network of mentors, and working at one of the fastest growing startups in the Netherlands. If these are aspects that excite you, StuComm might be the place for you!

StuComm improves the communication between educational institutions and their students with the help of our apps. We are the company behind the StudentsApp; an app that offers all relevant information in one place. Think about details such as timetables, grades, a digital student card or exam registration.

As Android developer at StuComm you will work on apps such as MyInholland, MyUU or Radboud Student. Thanks to you, about 500,000 students use our app with a big smile on their face on daily basis.

We are looking for an ambitious guy or girl for this position. You have a big passion for Android apps and a drive to deliver the best product every day. You work well in a team, don’t have a 9-17 mentality, and working in a small and young company sounds appealing to you.

Furthermore we expect the following skills:

  • Android (Java and XML) (2 years experience)

  • Design patterns

  • Experience with GIT (git flow)

  • Knowledge of the Material design guidelines

  • Knowledge of unit tests and continuous integration

Who are we?

StuComm believes in effective student communication, that’s why we created our apps. Founded three years ago, we currently work with about 80% of the Dutch universities. Our office is located in downtown Utrecht, from where we work with our team of 20 people. The whole team has the drive to work hard and deliver the best product. Besides hard work, there is also room for fun. There is a masseur every month, a ping pong table, and every friday we have drinks together.

Do you think you are the perfect addition to our team? We’d love to hear from you! Contact Nienke Beens via +31 (0)6 41686028 or for applications or more information.
