StuComm helps educational institutions to inform their students in a timely manner, with the help of the StudentsApp. The app combines information from different systems, preventing students from needing to log in to different platforms to find the needed information. Everything can be found in one app, within two clicks, while only having to log in once.
As backend developer at StuComm you'll work on apps as MyInholland, MyUU and Radboud Student. Daily, over 500,000 happy students use our app and you are partially responsible for that!
Who are you?
We're looking for an ambitious guy or girl for this position, who isn't afraid to take on a challenge. You like to dive into data & code and have the drive to deliver the best product day-in-day-out. Alongside, you like to think about the scalability of our product. Working in a team is something you like, and you don't have a 9-17 mentality.
Furthermore we expect the following skills:
- PHP Laravel (must & at least 2 years of experience)
- Knowledge of and experience with databases (MySQL, MS SQL)
- Design patterns
- Knowledge of GIT
- Basic knowledge of Scrum
- Basic knowledge of Windows Server and Linux
Who are we?
StuComm believes in effective student communication, that’s why we created our apps. Founded three years ago, we currently work with about 80% of the Dutch universities. Our office is located in downtown Utrecht, from where we work with our team of 20 people. The whole team has the drive to work hard and deliver the best product.
